OGI Potential is a private Psychology clinic operating from Deception Bay just north of the Brisbane metropolitan area. The clinic enjoys ongoing relationships with GPs in surrounding areas and we are currently expanding our practice with the aim to open a brand-new clinic in the coming months. Our clinical and administrative group is close knit and supportive and we are searching for a motivated individual to join our team.
The clinic focusses in two areas of expert interest:
Marriage therapy/relationship counselling and sex therapy.
Clinical/counselling psychology-oriented interventions.
We have two positions currently available:
1 x Relationship therapy and/or family therapy experienced psychologist.
1 x Generalist or Clinical Psychologist.
Each permanent contracted position is for three days per week, initially two days per week – increasing to three days as we build your case load. More days may be available according to client demand for the interested candidate.

Are you a recent Clinical Psychology graduate?: As there can be significant costs involved for Clinical Psychology Registrar’s to achieve full registration as a Clinical Psychologist (typically in the realm of $15,000 to $20,000), the Principal Clinical Psychologist provides a program to registration that is FREE.
Core position responsibilities:
Conduct diagnostic interviews and provide therapy under Better Access, NDIS and Veterans Affairs provisions.
Develop tailored formulations of case requirements and utilise evidenced based therapeutic approaches (e.g., Interpersonal Therapy for grief, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy for depression).
Utilise psychosocial measures at pre, mid and post therapy intervals to confirm the utility of interventions.
Produce timely, brief clinical letters/reports for referring General Practitioners (or other referring agents). Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Ability to work with clients who present with a broad range of issues (e.g., depression, grief, relationship concerns etc).
Full Psychologist registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA). Applicants without full registration cannot be considered for this position.
‘Team player’ essential. The successful candidate will be able and willing to follow documented policy and procedures for day to day administrative tasks in addition to their clinical work.
Clinical Psychology Registrars.
Current endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA.
Generalists with two years or more clinical experience.
Psychologists with a clinical area of interest in relationship counselling.
