COVID-19 BRISBANE LOCK-DOWN UPDATE
During outbreaks of COVID-19 in Brisbane or the wider area the Queensland Government may abruptly announce a community ‘lock-down’ to restrict the transmission of this disease. These lockdowns are typically wide ranging and often impact on our ability to provide face to face counselling services. OGI Potential is considered an essential service and as such will conduct future services via telehealth during any lockdown period.
This means that all clients booked for face to face sessions will remain booked. However, our clients will be contacted by their psychologist through phone, Zoom or Skype for sessions. Please use the Contact Us form on this website to inform us if you think you may have some difficulties with telehealth sessions and we can try to find an option that works best for you.
The situation is rapidly unfolding, so our clients are encouraged to check OGI Potential’s website regularly for updates regarding the provision of our services. Further information regarding the COVID-19 situation in Australia can be found here: COVID-19 in Australia.
Our clients are strongly encouraged to follow these guidelines at all times.
Please do not attend your session if you have any potential symptoms of COVID-19, including fever, coughing, shortness of breath or a sore throat. Call to cancel your session (the missed appointment fee will be waived in this circumstance). A COVID-19 symptom checker can be found here.
