I commenced work in 2021 as a Clinical Psychology Registrar with OGI Potential. I provide psychotherapy to individuals and couples across the lifespan on a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, substance use, social skills, parenting, PTSD and complex trauma, self-efficacy, and relationships amongst other areas.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults and the elderly conducting cognitive assessments and providing therapy targeted to their individual needs and requirements. I also have experience with military and police personnel, and those who have experienced trauma in their lives.
I have an extensive background in human resources, organisational development and change, careers guidance and training.
My passion for working with individuals to help them live their best life, build their skills and resilience to cope with and blossom in the face of life’s challenges led me to study and practice psychology. I love working in partnership with my clients to identify and build on their skills and strengths to facilitate long term and lasting change.
Area of Special Interest
I have a special interest in working with children and adults diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, having studied extensively in this area, in addition to raising 3 boys on the spectrum, who are the light of my life. I also enjoy working with clients with serious and enduring mental illness, and substance use issues following my experience in the Queensland Health Mental Health Inpatient, and Community Care Units working with clients with schizophrenia, intellectual disabilities, bipolar disorder, trauma, and various personality complexities and in the Queensland Health Alcohol and Other Drug Service.
